We are proud to be a sponsor for Lift Up MKE’s 2nd annual women and non-binary individual hackathon. Lift Up MKE is a women-owned technology company that strives to support others in leadership and provides diverse and safe tech events and training within the community.

Hack-a-Pipeline is a great opportunity for women and non-binary individuals in the tech community to bring their talent and insight, as well as network and build experience to stop the pipeline leak. It is a two-day event, Feb. 22-23, where individuals are formed into teams to code and build a project. The first day includes a pitch session, team formation, and coding. The second day includes a public demo event, awards, and a closing ceremony.

The projects are judged at the event by a panel on creativity, user experience, collaboration, pitch, and wow factor. The intellectual property remains in full ownership of the team; Hack-a-Pipeline claims no rights to the projects or ideas. Teams in first, second, and third place will be awarded a prize. On Demo Day, the community votes for their favorite project. This team will be awarded the Tech Community Prize.
